Dr Peter Jacobs trained at St George Hospital Sydney and has worked as a general practitioner for over 30 years on the Sunshine Coast. Dr Jacobs enjoys all aspects of general medicine. In his spare time, he enjoys playing First Trombone for Noosa District Concert Band.

Dr Simona Eremia is a women’s health General Practitioner who is passionate about providing high quality care to all women, couples and their babies. Dr Simona has advanced specialist training qualifications in Obstetrics and Gynaecology (DRANZCOG Advanced). She is a dedicated health professional who likes to practice up-to-date, evidence-based medicine. Dr Simona offers services including (but not limited to) women’s health consultations, antenatal care/shared care for low and high risk pregnancies, minor gynaecological procedures (IUD insertion/removal, cervical screening tests) as well as general consultations and mental health consultations (depression/anxiety).

Dr Simona also offers anti-wrinkle injections to treat forehead lines, frown lines and crows’ feet.

NB: Effective 1 January 2022, Dr Eremia will only bulk bill children under 16 years of age and patients who hold current concession cards.

When Simona is not at work she is an enthusiastic traveller, casual kayaker, amateur photographer and ocean lover.

Dr Brett Lynam trained at the University of Queensland, and has worked as a General Practitioner and in public health for over 30 years both within and outside Australia.

Dr David Tedman is a Queensland graduate and has provided a comprehensive general practice in the Maroochydore area for many years.

Special interests include:

• Skin cancer detection and surgery

Dr Mark Newell graduated from the University of Qld Medicine in 1981 and later completed his FRACGP.

Initially Dr Newell worked in hospitals around Queensland before starting his own practice in 1986 in Maroochydore.  Dr Newell enjoys ongoing patient relationships, has a special interest in Occupational Health and enjoys family time and exercise.

Dr Shepherd graduated from St Barts and the Royal London School of Medicine in 2008. During his postgraduate training he worked in many specialties including general medicine, urology, ED, paediatrics, ENT, sexual health, and dermatology.

Having qualified as a GP in the UK in 2014 he spent 2 years working in North Queensland. Alongside working as a GP, he has an academic interest and is completing a master’s degree in public health with an MBA.

He now loves living on the Sunshine Coast with his wife and 2 young children.
